142. The borough council exercises, in respect of the streets and roads under its responsibility pursuant to the by-law adopted by the city council for the purposes of section 105 and in a manner consistent with the standards prescribed under the second paragraph of that section, the jurisdictions of the city as regards roads, traffic signs and signals, the control of traffic and parking.
